GEORGIA MOHN

Georgia Mohn, 73 of Sassamansville passed away Friday, October 2, 2009 at her residence. She was born in Nanticoke, Luzerne County.

Georgia was a member of The National Society of The Daughters of the American Revolution, both state and local, The Lieutenant Matthew Smith chapters.

She was past president of the Upper Frederick Fire Company Ladies Aux. in the late 1960’s and 1970’s.

She is survived by two daughters: Dawn, (David) Stinnard, of Boyertown and Amy Jackson, of Sassamansville; two sons: Alan, (Marge) Wommer, of Frederick and Terry, (Ramona) Wommer, of Boyertown; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husbands Donald Wommer and Norman (Mooney) Mohn, two sons: George Wommer and Timothy (Loreen) Wommer and one sister: Audrie Dean, of Indiana.

The Auer Cremation Service of King of Prussia handled arrangements. Services are private at the convenience of the family.
