Obituaries
Bernadette (Folkman) Bevington, 78, of Burgundy Circle, Red Hill, formerly of Hill Road, Green Lane, died on August 26, 2010 in Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. She was the wife of Charles E. Bevington, celebrating 59 years of marriage on October 28, 2009.
Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth Folkman.
She retired from the family-owned textile and apparel business, Spring Ford Industries in Spring City, where she worked for many years. She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Allentown, a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and enjoyed casino trips to Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Surviving, along with her husband, are five children: Jeff Bevington and wife, Sharon, of Pottstown, Thomas Bevington and wife, Caroline, of Obregon, Sonora, Mexico, Francis Bevington and wife, Rose, of Ellenboro, North Carolina, Charles Bevington and wife, Susan, of Boyertown and Elizabeth Bevington and her partner, Jeanette Elliott of Pottstown; a sister, Elizabeth Feiertag, of Alburtis; and 11 grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Dolores Berninger.
A funeral mass was celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd., Pennsburg, with Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating. Burial followed in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg. A viewing was held 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. in the church.

Thomas W. Zappala, 95, of Pennsburg, died on Aug. 15, 2010 at Pennsburg Manor. Born in Philadelphia, he was the beloved husband of the late Edna (DeFilippo) Zappala and son of the late Joseph and Rosa (Bonacorso) Zappala.
Mr. Zappala worked in automotive sales and retired in 1978. He was an avid hunter, bowler and horseback rider.
Mr. Zappala is survived by his two daughters: Rose Zappala Devitt, and Joanna Zappala and one grandson, Thomas Zappala Devitt, all of Pennsburg. He is also survived by two foster daughters, Debbie (David) Crossett, of West Chester and Lori (Bill) Klinger, of Boothwyn and four foster grandchildren.
A funeral mass was held on August 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd., Pennsburg. Interment followed at Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Rd., Springfield.
Arrangements were by Monaghan Funeral Home.
Theodore “Kim” Keyser, 54, of East Greenville, died suddenly on Friday, August 20, 2010.
Born in Souderton, he was the son of the late Theodore K. and Betty Jane (Phander) Keyser.
He received a BA in Business from Moravian College. He was a self-employed entrepreneur, most recently as the owner of Cornerstone Sweeping, Inc. for the past six years. Prior to that he was in property management.
He was a member of the American Cancer Society, Upper Perkiomen Unit 12, and a Relay For Life volunteer. He was also a member and historian for the Coopersburg Harley-Davidson Owners Group.
Surviving is a son, Christopher, and his wife, Jamie, of Middlefield, Ohio; a granddaughter, Leah Lynn Keyser; a niece and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Randall (Keyser) Stancick, who died in March of this year.
Memorial services were held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville. A calling time was held from 10:00 to 11:15 a.m. at the church. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements.

Richard C. Sheets, 41, of Macungie, died August 22, 2010. He was the husband of Rebecca (Taddei) Sheets.
Born in Trenton, New Jersey, he was a son of Charles and Kathleen (Joyce) Longacre of Limerick.
He served in the US Army during peacetime.
Surviving with his wife and parents is a sister, Teri, and her husband, Blaze; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Kathryn George, 24, of West Palm Beach, Florida, formerly of Pennsburg, died August 19, 2010 in a motorcycle accident.
Born in Lansdale, she was the daughter of Clifford Liddle of Pennsburg and Jill Alexander of New York.
Katie is survived by a daughter, Paige George; a brother, Thomas Liddle; parents, Clifford Liddle and Jill Alexander; and grandparents, Betty and John Liddle of Indian Lake, New York.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, Florida.
Hazel Brodzinski, 95, of Red Hill, died August 20, 2010. She was the widow of Henry Brodzinski.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Sara (Burns) Hughes.
She was a member of New Goshenhoppen UCC, East Greenville. She was a member of the R.S.V.P. and Golden Agers, and was a volunteer at the Thrift Shop.
Surviving is a son, Stephen Brodzinski, and his wife, Carole Ann, of Richland Township; daughters, June, wife of John Miller, of Hawley; and Sally, wife of David Brown, of Reading; a sister, Betty Lord, of Lynnwood, New Jersey; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by siblings: Daniel, John, Thomas, Dorothy, and Katherine, and a grandson, Robert.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville, PA 18041. Viewing will be from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in the church parlor.

Jason Joseph Orlick, 23, of East Greenville, died August 18, 2010. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of Mark and Teri (Milone) Orlick, with whom he resided.
Surviving with his parents is a daughter, Adriana Orlick; brothers: Jonathan and Andrew, both of East Greenville; and maternal grandmother, Flo Milone, of Philadelphia. He was pre-deceased by grandparents: John Milone, and Albert and Lillian Orlick.
