Jerome S. Dob, Jr.
2013-06-18

Jerome S. Dob, Jr., of Lansdale, went home to Heaven on Wednesday, June 12.  He was 61.

Born in Norristown, he was the son of the late Jerome Dob, Sr. and the late Mary (DiDomenico) Dob Trego.  He was also the stepson of the late Charles E. Trego.

A 1970 graduate of North Penn High School, Jerry still holds the school record for dead weight lifting.  He later received an Associates degree in computer engineering.

He had been self-employed as a personal trainer.

Jerry loved working on computers, cooking Italian food, and exercising. He enjoyed walking everywhere in his hometown of Lansdale.  In his spare time he would strength train and teach people about nutrition at LaCrest Health Club and the YMCA, both in Lansdale.

Due to failing health, Jerry relocated to Palm earlier this year, residing with his cousins and loving caregivers, Maryjean and Jeffrey Sell.

His memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 21, in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA.    Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lansdale YMCA, 2017 Skippack Pike, Lansdale, PA  19446.
