William “Bill” Grant Seville

William “Bill” Grant Seville went to be with our Lord & Savior on May 16, 2013. He was 61 years old.  Bill had a tender spirit and kind nature.  Regardless of his stature, he was truly a gentle giant.  Bill loved music, singing and painting small crafts; but Bill’s greatest love was for his children and his wife, Cory Amanda Patterson Seville.

Bill was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on February 23, 1952 to Robert F. & Elsie Seville.  As a small child, he was rambunctious and mischievous.  A little “Dennis the Menace”.  As Bill grew he married and had four beautiful children with his wife of many years, Kathi: Tabitha L. Dahlinger wife of Alan from Bechtelsville, Pa , William G. “Billy” Jr. husband of Claudia from Greer, South Carolina, Joshua C (deceased), and Andrew B. from East Greenville, Pa.

As the tides rolled in Bill’s life, he found himself in Corpus Christi, Texas where he met his present wife, Cory.  After a brief courtship, they married and soon found that God had truly matched them to be together.  Bill was her Honey Bear and she, his Baby Kid.  Anyone privileged enough to meet them could see the deep affection and unrelenting commitment to one another they had.  Their union was blessed by God.  Bill was further blessed with three step children, a son, Jeremy Case Rodriguez, and two daughters, Madeleine Paige Patterson and Kaityln Brooke Patterson.

Bill also leaves behind his brother, F. Robert Seville and his wife Rosie from Pennsburg Pennsylvania, eleven grandchildren and two nieces and three nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents, his son Joshua and grandson Spencer.

A memorial service was held in the front courtyard of First Baptist Church in Corpus Christi , Texas on Tuesday.
