Dorothy May (Little) Styer
2013-03-07

        Dorothy May Styer, 98, wife of the late Paul H. Styer, her husband of 65 years, formerly of Little Rd. Perkiomenville, passed away on February 25, 2013.

        Born in Perkiomenville, she was a daughter of the late Gertrude (Herb) and James T. Little.
        Dorothy was employed by Cinderella Frocks (Rosenau Bros) of Red Hill as a forelady for 37 years and later retiring after 10 years of service from Town and Country Newspaper of Pennsburg.
        She was a graduate of Boyertown High School, class of 1932.
        Dorothy was a member of Peace and Zion UCC, Zieglersville.
        Her hobbies were crafts, ceramics, reading, puzzles and sewing, which she especially loved. Dorothy also loved “hard” work and gardening.
        She is survived by her 14 nieces and nephews and their families, whom she loved very much. Dorothy is predeceased by her siblings, Mary Etta (Little) wife of the late Augustus M. Schwenk of Pennsburg, Anna B. (Little) wife of the late Norman B. Hess of Perkiomenville, Ruth (Little) wife of Russell Wolfgang of Bechtelsville, James H. Little husband of the late Ruth (Moyer) Little of Perkiomenville, a nephew, the late James E. Hess of Gilbertsville and a niece, the late Dorothy “Dottie” P. (Little) Miller of Boyertown.
        Services were held at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc. 111 North Reading Ave. Boyertown, PA 19512 on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Friends called Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment was in Limerick Garden of Memories.
