WAYNE C. HOFFMAN

Wayne C. Hoffman, 52, husband of Charlotte D. (Hendricks) Hoffman, of Pennsburg, died Sunday, February 17, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital-Quakertown.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Preston and the late June (Roeder) Hoffman, of Perkiomenville.

He was a member of New Goshenhoppen U.C.C., VFW Post # 5954, of Red Hill, Red Hill Fire Co., and Topton American Legion Post #217.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Surviving, in addition to his wife of 17 years, are his children, Christopher P. Hoffman and wife, Vivian, of Moreno, California; Stephen M. Steigerwalt of Honolulu, Hawaii; Tara M. Steigerwalt of Millersville; and Stephanie M. Steigerwalt of Pennsburg; a brother, Harold Fetterman of East Greenville; sisters, Bonnie Hacker and husband, Willard, of East Greenville; Peggy Hoffman of Pennsburg and Jackie Lynch and husband John, of Perkiomenville; and grandchildren, Trinity and McKenna Hoffman.

A funeral service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday at New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville, with the Rev. James Roth officiating. Burial follows in New Goshenhoppen U.C.C. Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
