MILDRED L. FABIANI
Mildred Loretta Frances (Henry) DiBella Fabiani, 80, of Harleysville, was granted her angel wings on February 12, 2013. Her final days were spent saying the long goodbye in the grasp of Alzheimer's surrounded by her family.
Born in Kensington on March 6, 1932, she was the youngest of nine children and then became the mother of eight.
Millie was married in 1955 to Francis DiBella who passed away in January of 1959, leaving behind three children: Frank, Susan and Jim. She then married Vincent Fabiani, on September 4, 1961, and together they had five children: Vincent, Tina, Joseph, Michael and Christopher.
Although she worked long hours, she never ignored the love she had for her children. It wasn’t easy but Millie always put her children first; they were her life. She always greeted everyone with her dimples and radiant smile. She was proud to speak of her ever-growing group of 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Millie will be sadly missed by her children, Frank DiBella and wife, Charo, of Monterey, California, Susan Kolb and husband, Jeff, of Reading, Jim DiBella and wife, Dianne, of Lansdale, Vince Fabiani and wife, Eva, of East Greenville, Tina Main and husband, Ron, of Harleysville, Joe Fabiani and wife, Julie, of Jacksonville, Florida, Michael Fabiani and wife, Danielle, of Boyertown and the late Christopher Fabiani, her youngest son, who is greeting Mom in heaven, and her 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville preceded by a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A private burial was held.
