Elfrieda L. Richard

Elfrieda L. “Fritzie” (Angstadt) Richard, 89, widow of Roy Z. Richard, of Red Hill, died Thursday, February 7, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospice House.

Born in Spinnerstown, she was a daughter of the late George O. and Pearl (Mohr) Angstadt.

She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.

Fritzie loved to bake and play bingo.

Surviving are her children, Larry D. Richard and wife, Kathleen, of Red Hill and Brenda L. Nicholson, wife of Kenneth, of Emmaus; four grandchildren: Dominic Richard, Tanya Mauger, Serena and Ashley Richard; five great-grandchildren Owen Miller, Jordan Richard, Tia Miller, Zakkary Keppler and Dylan Mauger. She was predeceased by a son, Dominic C. Richard, two brothers, Lawrence and Linford Angstadt, and a sister, Ida Schaffer.

Funeral services were celebrated 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 12 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, with the Rev. Sharon Feuerstein officiating. Burial followed in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery. A viewing was held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
