Barbara (Rusnock) Fillman, of Barto and Pennsburg, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went home to the Lord on January 31, 2013 at Chestnut Knoll Memory Unit in Boyertown.

Born November 4, 1914 in Tresckow, PA, she was a daughter of the late Anton and Barbara (Kahaley) Rusnock. She was the widow of Arthur Fillman, and the companion of the late Charles Benfield.
Before retiring, Barbara worked as a waitress at the former Prutzman Restaurant in Pennsburg and at the Globe Hotel in East Greenville, and at various pants factories in the Upper Perkiomen Valley. She was an avid bingo player, and enjoyed traveling and shopping.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Donald Fillman, and his wife, Gail, of Red Hill; daughter, Donna, wife of Greg Rickert, of East Greenville; her grandchildren: Kelley, wife of Lance Utley, of Red Hill; Allen Fillman, and his wife, Angella, of New York; Troy Fillman, of Tangier, Morocco; Frank Bartholomew, and Lauren, of Red Hill; Steve Fillman, and his wife, Michelle, of Kyle, Texas, Amy Rickert, and fiancé, George Wertz, of East Greenville; her great-grandchildren: Kelley Anne, Christopher, Raven, Xavier, and Jacob; and nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by a son, David, and sisters: Anna Palko, Johanna Dzuranda and Suzanna Sobeck.
A memorial mass will be on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Pennsburg. A viewing was held on Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Chestnut Knoll Memory Loss Unit, 120 W. 5th Street, Boyertown, PA 19512.
