Michael J. Pinder

Michael J. Pinder, of Gilbertsville, passed away at Pottstown Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, January 29, 2013. He was 68 years old.

Born in Spring Mount, he was the beloved husband of the late Michele A. Pinder, who passed away on November 29, 2011. They were married for 30 years.

Michael worked at US Environmental as a mechanic for the past 11 years. He was also a Vietnam War veteran, having served in the United States Army.

He is survived by his two sons, Michael J., Jr. (Amanda), of Gilbertsville and Bryan K. of Downingtown; four daughters: Maria E. Demetriou (Ted) of Ocean Pines, Maryland, Christine N. Gordon (Shawn) of Douglassville, Stephanie L. Pinder of Gilbertsville, and Amanda S. Pinder of Boyertown; 21 grandchildren; three brothers, William (Jean) of Pennsburg, Jack (Eileen) of Port Royal, Thomas (Cindy) of Bechtelsville and two sisters, Mary Anne Pinder of Bechtelsville and Rose Marie Hayes of Hamburg. He is also predeceased by his son, Mark Pinder.

A viewing was held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at Monaghan Funeral Home, Red Hill. Interment was private.
