Franklin Renninger, 86, of East Greenville, passed away January 31, 2013. He was the husband of Doris (Cressman) Renninger.
Born in Red Hill, he was a son of the late Howard and Lillian (Wolf) Renninger.
He served his country honorably in the Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater. He was employed at C&D Technology, first in Pennsburg and then Conshohocken, for 31 years before retiring. He was a lifetime member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Red Hill.
Surviving, with his wife, is a sister, Eva Slonaker, of Pennsburg; grandchildren: Sean, Brett, and Stacey McEllroy; six great-grandchildren: Vincent, Korey, Joshua, Ashley, Austin, and Zachary; and one great, great-granddaughter, Zoei. He was predeceased by his daughter, Theresa (Renninger) Giberson; brothers: Claude, Clifford, Arthur, Lester, and Herbert Renninger, and sisters: Amy and Elsie Nace, Helen Hoepel and Alma George.
Services were at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg. All were invited to a viewing from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
