Elsie Rehak, 98, of Pennsburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 29, 2013.
Born in Trumbauersville, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Sallie (Barndt) Mack and the beloved wife of the late Charles Rehak. The couple was married for 44 years before Charles passed away in 1976.
Elsie worked as a blocker at Columbia Tape in Red Hill for 22 years before her retirement in 1985.
She is survived by her two grandsons, David and Paul Rehak, and daughter-in-law, Simone Rehak, all of Illinois; three nieces: Nancy Yerger, Sandra Reeder (Stephen), and Patricia Walter (Claude), and one nephew, James Mack (Mary Alice), all of Pennsburg; and many great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son, Charles Joseph Rehak, sister, Verna, brother, Robert Mack, nephews, Robert Mack, Jr. and David Mack, and great-nephew, Scott Reeder.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Monaghan Funeral Home, 612 Main St., Red Hill, PA 18076. A viewing will precede the service from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Red Hill.
All guests are invited to a luncheon after the burial at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1244 St. Paul’s Church Rd., Red Hill.
