Evan T. Stoudt

Evan T. Stoudt, 46, companion of Mary O. Alatorre, of Hereford, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2013 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born in Sellersville, he was the son of Carol A. (Thomas) and Linwood R. Stoudt, Jr. of Pennsburg.

He worked in the construction industry and also at Express Temp Agency.

He was a 1984 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School where he played football and wrestled and attended Western Montgomery County Vo-Tech School.

He was a lifelong member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ. He was also a member of the Reading Motorcycle Club, the VFW Post #5954, Red Hill, the Green Lane, East Greenville and Bally Fire Companies and the Owl’s Nest #1302, East Greenville. He loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and watching vintage airplanes at air shows.

He will be sadly missed by his parents and companion, his sister, Sherri L., wife of Grant E. Miller, Sr. of Gilbertsville; maternal grandmother, Verna Thomas, of Red Hill; a nephew, Grant E. Miller, Jr. and two great nieces, Gemma E. and Giselle R. Miller. He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, George Thomas, and paternal grandparents, Betty and Linwood R. Stoudt, Sr.

Services were held Wednesday at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. James R. Roth officiating. Burial followed in New Goshenhoppen Cemetery. Share memories and offer condolences to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
