George I. Kline
George I. Kline, husband of Frances, of Center Valley, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the age of 76.
Born in Williamsport, he was the son of the late George H. and H. Mae Kline. George grew up in Knoxville, Tioga County and graduated from Cowanesque Valley Joint School. He graduated from Temple University and received his MBA from the Ohio State University. George moved to Allentown, where he worked for PP&L in the general accounting and investor services departments for over 40 years. He was a loyal Philadelphia Eagles fan, and an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed his annual fishing trips to Canada with his family, boating in Delaware, tending his fruit trees and spending time with his beloved pal Max, the cat.
Surviving are his wife, Fran; sons, Stephen, and his wife Stephanie, of Towson, Maryland, and George Sabol of Barto; daughters, Sally Sabol of Lebanon, New Jersey, Sharon Sabol, of Mohnton, and Jennifer Sabol of Somerville, New Jersey; five grandchildren: Miles Kline, Henry Kline, Andrew Sabol, Sheridan Maybin and Kayla Dragan; sister Susan Patterson of Greensburg; niece Kim (Patterson) Quatse and husband Darryl of Crabtree; grandniece Kaylee Quatse; grandnephew, Jesse Quatse.
Friends and family may call from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on January 20 to celebrate George’s life at Upper Saucon Social Quarters, 4900 Lanark Rd., Center Valley.
