Homer H. Hetrick
Homer H. Hetrick, 87, formerly of Zionsville, died December 31, 2012 at Pennsburg Manor. He was the husband of Virginia (Batman) Hetrick. Born in Kraussdale, he was a son of the late Herman and Eva (Kulp) Hetrick.
He worked as a production pipe builder for the Tyler Pipe Co. of Macungie, retiring in 1987.
Homer was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Church and the Upper Milford Western Dist. Fire Co.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, is a son, Larry H. Hetrick and wife, Gayle of Emmaus; siblings, Beatrice Kohler of Zionsville, Violet, wife of Victor Haberle, of Emmaus, Francis “Penny” Hetrick of Zionsville; and Alma, wife of Allen Carl, of Palm; two grandchildren, Pamela, wife of Donald Marsh and Brad Hetrick and wife, Julie; five great-grandchildren, Samantha and Alex Marsh, Brooke, McKenna and Blake Hetrick. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by a daughter, Sharon D. Hetrick, brother, Norman Hetrick and a sister, Kathryn “Cassie” Miller.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2013 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville.
