Joseph P. Hatcher
2012-09-26

 

        Joseph P. Hatcher, 79, of Wild Run Road, Pennsburg, died September 18, 2012 at Lansdale Hospital. He was the husband of Dolores (Wilt) Hatcher.
        Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Ottoway and Helen (Chadwick) Collins. Joseph was a mechanical engineer, retiring from the International Paper Co., Philadelphia. Prior to that, he was employed at the F.M.C. Corp, Horsham.
        He was a member of New Goshenhoppen UCC.
        Surviving, with his wife, are children: Serena Hatcher, Sandra Weston, Joseph Hatcher, Jr., and Diane Tierney; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several siblings.
        A celebration of life service was held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 24, 2012 at the pavilion of Montgomery County Park, 2144 Snyder Road, Green Lane.
        The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
        Contributions may be made in his memory to Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E. Ridge Pike, PO Box 222, Conshohocken, PA 19428-0222.
