William “Bill” Crawford Muntz
2012-09-26

William “Bill” Crawford Muntz, Jr., 63, a Cape Coral Florida resident for the last three months, formerly of West Palm Beach, Florida and Perkiomenville, laid his head to rest Wednesday morning, September 12, 2012.
He was born December 6, 1948 in Bryn Mawr, to the late William Crawford Muntz, Sr. and Olive Muntz.
A fighter, a strong US Marine Corps Vietnam veteran, husband, father, grandfather and brother, Bill was fully devoted to his family, friends and country. His time was spent enjoying the sunshine, boating and good conversation. Faithful to the fullest, he would give the shirt off of his back to help another. Bill knew no strangers, for he would thrill all those he spoke to with his strong ability to enlighten through the power of his words. His friendly persona and simple “hello” always began lifelong friendships. Bill also loved attending church at Grace United Methodist in Cape Coral.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of over 31 years, Diana L. Muntz, of Cape Coral; his three children, Krystal Gail Muntz of West Palm Beach, Devon Alexandra Muntz of Cape Coral and Christian “Cody” Muntz also of Cape Coral; a brother, Rick Muntz and his wife Susan of Malvern; four grandchildren, Andre R. Jackson, Skylar Langlais, Giavanna Clark and Zavion William Clark; his stepmother, Rose Muntz of Riverview, Florida; three nephews, Christopher Muntz, Timothy Muntz and Jonathan Muntz all of Malvern; as well as his junkyard dog, Mahi.
The hearts of his family are soothed to know he is now “with the flowers,” as his grandson, Sky, would say. Radiant, loving, wonderful man will be forever engraved in the minds of all those so lucky to meet him. May he rest in peace, and as it is said, “If the Army and the Navy ever look on heaven’s scenes, they will find that the streets are guarded by the United States Marines.” Semper Fi!
Memorial services will be held at a later date to be announced. Bill will be placed to rest at the Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Florida with full military rites. In addition, a portion of Bill’s ashes will become a part of an eternal reef in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Sarasota, Florida.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Prostate Cancer Foundation, 1250 Fourth Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401.
Friends are invited to send condolences via the on-line guest book which can be found at www.MullinsMemorial.com.
Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.
