The body of a woman found in a New Hanover field in the 2400 block of Little Road around 10 a.m. on Wednesday was identified as Natalie Marella, 26, of Ambler
According to a press release issued by Montgomery County District Attorney’s office, DA “Risa Vetri Ferman and New Hanover Township Police Chief Kevin McKeon announce the joint investigation into the death of a female discovered in a field on Little Road in New Hanover Township.
On Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 10:22 AM, New Hanover Township Police responded to a reported found body at 2471 Little Road in the Frederick Section of New Hanover Township. Responding officers discovered the body of a deceased white female laying in a remote section of hedgerow adjacent to a cornfield. The body was discovered by a local farmer.”
An autopsy was performed on Wednesday and the cause and manner of death pending the results of toxicology testing.
The incident remains under investigation.
