Sweet Water Youth Golf League Wraps Up Season With Tournament
2012-08-16

Austine Shanley of East Greenville hits out of the bunker on the ninth hole during play in the Youth League nine-hole tournament at Sweet Water Golf Course.

Sweet Water Golf Course in Upper Hanover Township held their annual year end Youth League nine-hole tournament last Thursday.

This year 47 children, ages 7 through 15, battled the golf course and each other over the 2,777-yard layout.  Depending upon their playing ability, league members were assigned tees to play from. The more experienced players played from the championship tees (Blue) while beginners played from the youth tees (Gold).
League members participating in the tournament had caddies of their choice and family members along with friends in their gallery.
