In its third meet of the season, the Upper Perk girls' swim team captured a 99-71 win over Lansdale Catholic in a home meet Dec. 21.
The team started with a win in the 200-yard medley relay by Felicia Sloyer, Kristen Kilroy, Daniele Marino and Jackie Hammill. Hammill also went on to win the 50-yard freestyle and 100 butterfly.
In the 500 freestyle, Sloyer took first, as did the the 200 freestyle relay team of Lindsey Brust, Becca Rose, Marino and Hammill. The girls ended with a win in the 400 freestyle relay.
The boys' weren't as lucky taking a 73-47 loss to Lansdale.
The team scored three first-place wins, with the 200 medley relay team of Matt Cassel, Zak Kibler, Matt Rose and Jason Mercando leading the way. Brandon Umstead took first in the 50-yard freestyle and Matt Rose got the win in the 100 butterfly.
The swimmers return to the pool at home against Boyertown on Jan. 3 at 6 p.m.
