For many years he served his community as an Upper Salford Fire Policeman. He could fix almost anything, and while living in the Vineyards retirement community, he helped all those in need and was the Co-Chairman of the Landscape Committee.
Surviving with his wife, are son Courtney McCullough of Phoenixville; a daughter Martha McCullough of Exton; stepdaughters Wendy Schofield of East Fallowfield and Sally Wolfe of Havertown; a stepson William Schofield III of Skippack; and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Robert III.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 6 at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 2871 Barndt Road in Harleysville. Call at the church from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
