Harleysville Savings Bank was honored as “Best of the Best Winner” in the Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers' (PACB) 2011 Community Bank Week Contest. The PACB celebrates its annual Community Banking Week with the competition for member banks who are “Making a Difference on Main Street.”
Harleysville Savings Bank was the recipient of the “Most Creative” entry in the children’s category for holding four Trusty birthday bash parties in its branches during Community Banking Week. The events, held on April 9, 14, 15 and 16, also featured music and gifts for children and were.
Children and their families were treated to birthday cake and refreshments, a coloring contest, ice cream truck and all pitched in for a collection for a local animal shelter.
