Mrs. Deanna D. Rogers

          Mrs. Deanna D. Rogers, of Georgetown, DE passed

away on Monday, January 6, 2014.  She was 75-years-old.

          Mrs. Rogers was born in Keyser, West Virginia on November 25, 1938 to the late Carl and Mabel Arbogast Schell.  In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by two sisters, Judy and Sheila of West Virginia.

          She was co-owner and operator Dee-Will Construction, and was previously employed at several commercial and residential construction firms in PA and MD as a Project Coordinator.

          She moved to the Georgetown area about six years ago.  She had previously lived in Ocean Pines, MD, CA, NJ, and PA.  She was a member of the CO-ED Scramble Group and the Golf Club.  She loved golfing, cooking, gardening and canning.  Dee was a former Den Mother of Scout Pack 90, enjoyed sewing and made lots of clothes, costumes, prom dresses and other treasurers for her family and friends throughout her years.  She was devoted to her family and had many endearing qualities about her.  She will be missed by many.

          She is survived by her husband of 54 years, William J. Rogers of Georgetown, DE; five children: Anita McRory of Swindon, Wiltshire, UK; Patrick Rogers and his wife Patti of Red Hill, PA; James Rogers and his wife Lori of Perkiomenville, PA; Charles Rogers and wife Deborah of Barto, PA; and daughter Nancy Thompson (widow of Eric Thompson) of Perkiomenville, PA, two brothers, Daniel Schell and wife Karen of Odenton, MDD and Chris Schell and wife Judy of Frostburg, MD, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren are in the works.

          She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

          Services and interment will be private.

          In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her name, to their local SPCA or animal shelter/rescue.
