Eva V. (Smith) Walker
Eva V. (Smith) Walker, 97, widow of Earl S. Walker, of Quakertown and formerly of Red Hill and Sumneytown, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Quakertown Center.
Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Alverda (Kulp) Smith.
She was a long time member of Faith Bible Fellowship Church, Harleysville where she served on the Missionary Society.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Mark Walker and wife, Jayne of Huff’s Church and Cheryl, wife of Randy McElroy of Pennsburg; brother, Bobby Smith and wife, Dee Dee of Pennsburg; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband she was predeceased by 3 children, Earl S. Walker, Jr., Grace Goodwin and Faith Long; siblings, Arthur, Warren, and Earl “Sonny” Smith and Ida Ford, Arlene Bishop and Betty Stevens; grandson, Todd William Reed and great-grandson, Justice Goodwin.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Faith Bible Fellowship Church, 140 Harleysville Pike, Harleysville, PA 19438 with the Rev. Michael Walker officiating. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow in Frieden’s Union Cemetery, Sumneytown.
