LEGAL NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Pennsburg Borough Council intends to adopt and enact on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at 7:00 P.M. in the Borough Council Chambers, Pennsburg Borough Municipal Building, 76 W. 6^th Street, Pennsburg, PA., the following Ordinance:

TAX LEVY ORDINANCE

An Ordinance of the Borough of Pennsburg, Montgomery County and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, fixing the tax rate for the year 2013.

BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the Council of the Borough of Pennsburg, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania;

That a tax be and the same is hereby levied on all property and occupations within said municipality subject to taxation for the fiscal year 2013 as follows;

Tax rate for GENERAL PURPOSES, the sum of 5.475 mills on each dollar of assessed valuation.

Also re-enacted for year 2013 are the 1% REAL ESTATE TRANSFER TAX, the 1% EARNED INCOME TAX, the $5.00 PER CAPITA TAX on all residents of Pennsburg, eighteen (18 years of age or older) and a $110.00 per unit TRASH AND RECYCLING ASSESSMENT fee per dwelling unit and the $10.00 OCCUPATIONAL PRIVILEGE TAX.
