BPW Honors June Girl of the Month

Emily Sands, right, was announced as the BPW June Girl of the Month at the group's monthly meeting Monday night. At left are her parents, Stuart and Debra Sands.

 

                The Upper Perkiomen Business and Professional Women’s club is pleased to announce that Emily Sands in the June Girl of the Month.  Emily is a senior at Upper Perkiomen High School.  She is the daughter of Debra and Stuart Sands of Pennsburg.

                Emily has received many academic honors at Upper Perk.  She was in the top ten percent in her class and received high honors every year.  She has also been active in the FCCLA for one year, the Juniorettes and yearbook committee for two years, the Leo’s club and Esperanto for three years, and was a class officer and in the student council for four years.

                Emily has worked part-time at the Valley Medical Center as a medical secretary and at Buck Nurseries as a clerk.

                Emily plans to attend Blooms-burg University in the fall to major in marketing.
