Quakertown Has a New Resident

Fins, Feathers, Paws & Claws, Inc. Opens an Additional

Location and Introduces Their Mascot Percy the Tortoise

Fins, Feathers, Paws & Claws, Inc. of Harleysville would like to announce the opening of our new store in Quakertown at the Quakertown Farmers Market  located at 201 Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951.

Enjoy the same great service at our newest location and be prepared to welcome Quakertown’s newest resident, Percy!  Percy is 12-year-old African Spurred Tortoise weighing a whopping 118 lbs.                                                                                               .

Percy has received a warm welcome from all the customers who have visited the new pet store. He has an enclosure designed especially for him located towards the back of the pet store. The door to his pen is left open, allowing Percy to emerge from his home and go for a walk around the store. Customers are amazed at not only his size but also his temperament.  He commonly stops to allow small children and adults an opportunity for a pat of his shell and, of course, a photo opportunity.

While you’re here, be sure to check out the rest of our new, 6,000 sq. ft. pet store. Check out our huge reptile display with spiders, snakes, and turtles. We also have over 200 fresh and saltwater aquariums.  The 4,500 sq. ft outside pond area has fish & plants to stock your garden pond.

We are a pet store, as a pet store we believe we should have a large variety of animals for adoption. Whether you are a new pet owner or a connoisseur, we are here to help you and your pet with all of your needs seven days a week.

Fins, Feathers, Paws & Claws offers you the best in pond and pet supplies. We are not just another pet store. We have been serving our customers with the personal touch that they deserve since 1985 at our Harleysville store. Our success can be attributed to the fact that we care about both pets and their owners. We grew fast due to our unique approach to quality and service, which concentrates on providing customers with an educated staff, a clean environment and a very large assortment of animals.

We also offer a wide variety of special events and seminars throughout the year to help our customers learn more about their pets and ponds. Some of our events have included hands on pond building workshops, coral frag swaps, our very popular pond tour, and, of course, Percy’s birthday.

If you’d like more information about this topic or to meet Percy in person, please contact Pamela at Fins, Feathers, Paws & Claws, Inc. 215-256-1455 or 215-536-1122.
